Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation

Return-to-sport planning, injury prevention, PRP injections and structured post-operative rehab.

Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation

Surgery is only half of the recovery. A clear, measurable rehabilitation plan — with defined milestones for strength, balance and sport-specific movement — is what gets athletes and active patients safely back to what they love.

Conditions we treat

  • Muscle and tendon strains
  • Overuse and repetitive stress injuries
  • Tennis and golfer's elbow
  • Post-operative deconditioning
  • Early osteoarthritis in active adults
  • Return-to-play clearance

How it works — what to expect

  1. 1

    Consultation & examination

A detailed history and hands-on clinical examination to identify the exact structure causing pain, instability or stiffness.

  2. 2

    Movement and load assessment

Strength, flexibility, landing mechanics and training load are analysed to find why the injury occurred.

  3. 3

    Treatment plan

Injections, biologics, bracing or surgery are combined with a written, progressive rehabilitation programme.

  4. 4

    Return-to-play testing

Objective strength and hop or throw testing before clearance, so you return only when the limb is ready.

Procedures offered

PRP and biologic injections

Targeted injections for tendon and early cartilage problems where appropriate.

Guided physiotherapy programme

Phase-based rehabilitation supervised alongside your physiotherapist.

Injury prevention screening

Movement assessment to identify and correct the patterns that cause repeated injury.

Recovery & rehabilitation

Athletes need more than pain relief — they need to return to their sport at the level they left it, without a repeat injury.

Every programme is criteria-based: you progress when you pass the milestone, not when the calendar says so. Sessions are structured around your training week.

Injury prevention work — hamstring and calf strength, hip control, landing technique and sensible load progression — continues after clearance.

  • Phase 1: pain and swelling control, restore range
  • Phase 2: strength symmetry within 10% of the other side
  • Phase 3: running, agility and change of direction
  • Phase 4: sport-specific drills and full training
  • Phase 5: cleared for competition
